And now for something completely different....

This is a far cry from my normal posts chock full of beautiful babies! I am taking a photography class (when am I not?) and my homework assignment this week was to take an "environmental portrait" of someone. Basically, that means a portrait of a person in a place that depicts how they interact and relate to that place. The place can be a job, home, a place where they participate in sports or hobbies, etc.

I was a bit stumped as to who to photograph, until my friend Alison suggested one of the people who dress up to lure customers into tax preparation places. Luckily, not far from my home (Howell Mill Rd, near the new WalMart) this man works the corner on behalf of Liberty Tax. He has an entire dance routine worked out. I highly suggest you do a drive by before April 15th. Anyway, these crack me up so I just had to share!

Finnegan Again

I met up with my buddy Finn at Piedmont Park on Saturday for a picture date. Finn is almost nine months old, and I can hardly believe it! Time is flying. This session was so fun, because he is now so smiley and interactive! It was so fun to capture his smile and his laugh.

Finn also let his parents tag along. :)

Kate

Gorgeous little Kate is five months old. I had a fun session with Kate and her family last weekend. When I walk in the door and am instantly offered a mimosa, I can tell its going to be a good time! Kate's boyfriend Baker happened to be in town, along with his mother who just happens to be best friend's with Kate's mother. :)

And some of Baker

And just for fun...

Mason

Meet Mason. This adorable little guy is seven months old. He was not so sure about me at the beginning of the session, and had some precious, yet very serious faces. But by the end he had warmed up - how cute is his grin?

Connor

I just love this little guy! Not only is he ridiculously cute, but he is a future Tar Heel like his mommy, and me! He was in such a happy, laid back mood during our session - so much fun to photograph! Not to mention his parents were super fun too. As always, here are a few of my favorite shots.

Go Heels!

Caroline

I will avoid the obvious "Sweet Caroline" pun, but seriously, how sweet is this face?

I had a session with Caroline and her family last weekend. We couldn't have picked a prettier day for pictures at the park. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

Sean

Oh my goodness. Brace yourself for extreme cuteness. Sean is a precious little premie. He decided to make his grand entrance a little early - well a lot early! I had a fun session with this little guy and his family yesterday. Here are a few of my favorite shots.
